Dr Leticia is a General Dentist.
Dr. Leticia graduated from São Paulo State University (UNESP) in Brazil, one of the world’s leading universities, where she earned two academic high distinction awards. Besides, she completed two years of advanced training in the management of periodontal disease in patients with systemic illnesses.
Her passion lies in Oral Medicine, with extensive experience in general dentistry and in caring for patients with systemic conditions.
For more than three years, Dr. Leticia worked at the Aracatuba-SP Head and Neck Oncology Centre, providing dental care to patients undergoing oncological treatment. She also supervised Oral Medicine clinics at UNESP alongside her professors for three years, mentoring students and supporting patient care.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Leticia has conducted over six years of research focused on preventive protocols for Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (MRONJ). She is an active member of the Group of Studies and Research with Lasers in Dentistry (GEPLO), contributing to publications in international journals.
Among the advanced treatment modalities she offers is Photobiomodulation therapy, which uses laser technology to stimulate healing, reduce pain, and provide antimicrobial benefits. This therapy is particularly effective following surgical procedures, in the treatment of oral ulcers, painful oral conditions, and temporomandibular disorders (TMD). She also provides comprehensive oral diagnosis and management of oral lesions, including biopsies.
Dr. Leticia is committed to continuous professional development, regularly attending CPD courses to stay at the forefront of new treatments and technologies. Her goal is to deliver patient-centred care with expertise, compassion, and a gentle approach.
